The iconic American motorcycle brand, 'Indian', is gradually expanding its network in India, and has recently announced the opening of its eighth dealership in the country. The new (8th) dealership has opened in Kolkata, which now becomes the first Eastern part of the country to get this legendary brand's outlet. The showroom has been opened at the prime location of the Judges Court Road. The store is offering the entire range of Indian motorcycles available in India, which includes the Chief Classic, Chief Vintage, Chieftain, Chief Dark Horse, Roadmaster, Scout and the all-new Scout Sixty which was recently launched.
The dealership was inaugurated in the presence of Amit Kumar Modi, chairman of Modi Group, Kolkata and Pankaj Dubey, managing director, Polaris India. The latter stated, “With the inauguration of this showroom, we are proud to be associated with Modi Group for bringing America’s first motorcycle company, Indian Motorcycle, to the gateway of Eastern India. There is a great deal of excitement among bike lovers here for Indian Motorcycle and we are confident that this dealership will cater to their requirements and delight them through our bespoke products. This new dealership is part of the strategic expansion plans of Indian Motorcycle currently underway to bring the brand closer to its enthusiasts, wherever they are. The growing awareness for our brand among enthusiasts and the potential of this market made it an obvious choice for us to expand our footprint in Kolkata.”
Apart from selling the American brand's motorcycles, the new Kolkata dealership will be providing after-sales support as well, according to the global standards so that the customers can be satisfied with the product and the brand.
